White label 12" Oldie of the Day

Many thanks to B2B member Dave C for this.....typical of his love for the more obscure Streetsoul type of sound.(late 80t's -early 90t's)..I'm guessing it's very rare- this isn't exactly a pristine copy (to put it mildly) either but worth posting IMHO

  2. Wow! Instant recall after all these years! Singalongadivshare! Family Love (for that is who it is) was a hot record for about 3-4 weeks as a new release (as were quite a few of those Jetstar whites) Choice FM were on it as I recall - then copies dried up. I remember it was certainly played 'out' a few times at gigs like Crofters and the Glasshouse, and it has the dubious honour of probably being about the only streetsoul record ever played at the Soul Essence weekender (by DJ Simon Petts). I always thought he was a legend for doing that ... :o)
