Marsha Ambrosius sex tape part 3

Raheem variates on Mar

see

http://altmodsoul.blogspot.com/2010/10/mar-does-li.html

Seems like Raheem DeVaughn has been checking out Mar and deciding to do his own Variation (not as good either)However this track from the same FREE mixtape is rather special

Kids These Days

Kids These Days - "My Days" Music Video from T.E.H.O. on Vimeo.

My money is on Ron...

I'd heard a couple of leaks from this CD-but heads up to Soul Kandi DJ- Geoff for the reminder.... Here is my most played edit from it....

Doug Johns old school revivalist

Talented mad slapping bassist Doug Johns doing his thing in 2010. Sounding like he's been listening to a lot of 1970t's Tower of Power LP's...

Ariya Astrobeat Arkestra

The Ariya Astrobeat Arkestra formed in late 2007 when members of the Kidkanevil live show and First Word stalwarts Homecut began a series of late night afrobeat sessions at Leeds’ Sela Bar. It was out of these jam sessions that The Ariya Astrobeat Arkestra was born, combining their love of afrobeat with their appreciation of the space jazz pioneers of the 70’s and the free jazz trailblazers of the 60’s, coupled with a hefty nod towards James Brown. Individually they have been lucky enough to Perform with the likes of Yarah Bravo, Gilad Atzmon, Jehst, The New Mastersounds, The Haggis horns, Kidkanevil, Homecut, Kissey Asplund and Ty, to name a few

From the new CD.....not exactly my cup of brew but I do quite like this-you'd of thought more might of picked up on it???

Vikter Duplaix "for-players-only-mixtape"

First heard about this through uber blog Blind I (who have a track based version for free download). This is a neat if curtailed compilation of the rare and collaborated stuff. Vikter is a real fave of mine. Featuring on the mix is a short version of this magnificent track from 2002 (where he guests with Jazzanova)...

Reggie B....

2010 is a year I've found a lot of good music where the name Reggie B is tagged...

This is taken from the Pin Board Blog compilation (see past posts) and

http://pinboardblog.com/2010/10/freep-pinboardblog-com-presents-feed-your-ears-vol-1-soul-edition/

Quite some compilation this............

Unreleased of the day.... Glen Lewis

The other day I downloaded a Rar file titled "Glen Lewis back for more unreleased 2009".... Somehow this didn't add up and a bit of searching the net led me to discover that this was from 2003 and an unreleased follow up to his 1st CD which features the ALL TIME classic "Don't you Forget it". That early work has some very clear influences (and it's non the worst for that). Take for example the track posted below......

Bandcamp of the day...........

Was put onto this by "Word is Bond" - a fave artist of the ownership of that excellent long standing blog. Good stuff too IMHO-this track has feel....

Opolopo

New CD about to be released with a host of stars including Wonder vocalist Eric Riko

Ntjam Rosie and Soulbounce

Taken from the Soulbounce Blog (which I'm hoping gets the 2010 Soul Train award) - a great example of what they do....choose good music to listen too. This is from Dutch resident Ntjam Rosie latest release

Bandcamp(s) of the day...........

First released in January 2010 and originally a free download- It's nice to see this resurface on Blind I.....

From the Pin Board Blog- a little bit of heaven from Peter Hadar which sits nicely with the rest of the EP selections first made available in October and still a free download....

smooth jazz track of the day

Why am I the only person to single out this cd..?

You know Like the Hilton for example, Don't you have a media streaming radio show to fill up (and all that shit) ? - What !!!! No takers....? Blimey you people are hard to please....

Heather Victoria

Of course 9th Wonder really know how to create a 90t's Sound- and this is up to the usual standard

Girlie track of the day

If this was pirate radio station Soul Nation back in 1993 this would be a killer...alas it's 2010.... Still it appears some are still playing catch up and so I post it here

Her name is hurtt- that's two tt's how cool is that!

The World of Demo songs

There was a time when people wrote songs on paper- or piano scrolls. These days a song is done as a demo track and sometimes these test recordings are leaked on the net.
Back in the old days say 2005-8 when doing an R&B Demo you booked One Chance to provide the vocal. Or if you could sing you did the track itself
(see http://altmodsoul.blogspot.com/2010/10/demo-of-day-more-recent.html).

It's always a bit strange to hear a song that frankly will never be good enough- passed around....

Here is Charlie Wilson

Here is J Holiday

Proof that shining a turd-is a tough act-even if like me you love the singing

THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HAVE VISITED MY SITE. AND OF COURSE A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HAVE DONATED MUSIC, IT IS VERY APPRECIATED.
WITH THE RE-FORMING AT 'RAPIDSHARE' I HAVE LOST A TON OF POINTS THAT SHOULD/COULD HAVE BEEN TURNED INTO RAPIDS, DUE TO TIME DIFFERENCES AND ALL IT HASN'T TURNED OUT THAT WAY. SO ON OR ABOUT DECEMBER 3, 2010 I WILL NO LONGER KEEP A PREMINUM ACCT. SO IF THERE ARE FILES THAT YOU HAVE WANTED TO DOWNLOAD AND HAVEN'T, I WOULD BE SURE TO GET THEM. THE FILES [AS RAPIDSHARE STATES] WIL;L STILL BE ACTIVE UNTILL THE 60 DAYS OF NON-DOWNLOADING HAS KICKED IN AND THE FILE IS DELETED.AT THAT TIME I MAY OR MAY NOT REUP IT. AS ANOTHER FRIEND'S SITE IS THINKING ABOUT POSTING SPECIAL, ETC, TYPE RELEASE FOR 48 HRS. ONLY, THIS MAY ALSO BE A GOOD THINK. WE'LL SEE. BUT I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW WHAT MAY/ OR MAY NOT HAPPEN TO 'RS' FILES.
YOU CAN USUALLY TELL THEM BECAUSE I USE EITHER THE RS LINK, TINYURL, OR LIX.

THE 1ST ONES TO GO WILL PROABABLY THE VIDEOS.

Now I'm not a huge fan of this Blog-it's very much on the fringes of what I listen too (I'd class it along with the Music Library type blogs I'm a follower of). It's not really Soul Music -and not really Jazz in the style of Modern Soul-aka Mark Addy.

Still all that said it's a passionate place -plus the Blog has lots of feedback and rare (? well obscure) music for people to sample. For me well I could go crazy and download everything-spend a bit of time (not much) digesting my downloads then throwing up the odd track on here.

But it's more than that......really..........

Marsha Ambrosius

From the Smoking Section...

If this is any indication of what Late Nights & Early Mornings will spawn into, the stock in box springs for beds is almost certain to skyrocket in 2011. This is some real grown folks type music right here. Leaving her vindictive feelings behind, Marsha focuses her attention to the bedroom and the fantasies that can fulfilled with the proper theme music.
Contrary to what the title may allude, Miss Ambrosius does not have a sextape. She does, in fact, have a sextape however. This near 18-minute song is actually broken down into four separate erogenous zones. Each have a different feel with a different tone – narrated with the timeless lullabies of Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and The Isley Brothers – but with the same goal. Play this around your ol’ lady the next time the mood is right. She’ll appreciate the moment.
One more thing though. Don’t be a geek and ask for the tracks to be split either. If you’re doing what you’re supposed to be doing, the last thing on your mind should be attempting to skip to the next track
.

I can't really top that except to ask you to listen

Collid of the day

It's odd how sometimes it just comes together. From writing about Soulmate I download something by Sina Blogger Supreme Collid. A CD by O'Neal from 2004. It is obscure and (least to me) and yet fits in nicely with Moovmnt Soul-open space and electronics which bleed, on top of an a plaintive vocal....

Music is all about listening and joining the dots

oldie of the day

I'm a real sucker for a good sample.... Like anything with Cameo's hanging Down town in it

Floyd Taylor

The sort of stuff that puts me in mind of Mark M's Soul Sermon mixes. It's gutsy Soul music, heartfelt and carrying along something sonorous. Don't forget to view my shared items for the links to Soul Sermon...

Moovmnt of the day

From Moovmnt...

http://www.moovmnt.com/2010/11/10/dukehugh-st-louis-to-madrid-olivier-daysoul-remixed/

Talented Dutch producer Dukehugh, hailing from Groningen, seems to amaze us time and time again. This time with the “St. Louis To Madrid” remix EP he dropped yesterday on his Bandcamp. You remember Olivier DaySoul‘s “Mr Saint Louis” EP produced by Odissee right? Well Hugo manages to conjure up four remixes each with a totally different take. This thing is all over the place and goes from Broken to Dub and from Future Soul to Bossatronic. Please leave a nice comment if you enjoy this free download…I know you will!

Seems like I'm posting a lot of Dutch stuff in the last week or so

MYK of Brokn English

From Word is Bond Blog
A journey through the mind of Myk Dyaleks (1/3 of Brokn.Englsh). Walk with him on this sonic voyage, where he paints an image moving forward into his next musical transition. Melodic and soulful...he gives you a quick taste of what's to come. Strap in, and enjoy

Have to admit to quite liking Brok'n'English- "trying" from a few years ago is a bit of a classic round our house. This new mixtape from MYK (another free legal download)-has it's best moment here (IMHO)

Bandcamp of the day...........

Bandcamp (in this instance) delivers the sort of free Legal Download product that even the most conservative Modern Soul Fan could be listening to -(it's a bit cheesy yet ticks some of the boxes)- expect to hear this on some streaming Radio Show soon enough...

oldie of the day

From a 2006 CD that has several cover versions of songs taken from "Taste the Love" by Leon Ware.........

New from Mar

This time Mar stayed in Holland and variated an instrumental song by dutch producer Louis Bordeaux.

Gotta love Mar.......

Pete Philly

Quite Wonderful stuff out of Holland........

A big Thank You to Sound Rotation- you aren't wrong about how this track gets under your skin

Soulmate bows out

NOTE EDITED POST: Pai 2 has not closed- it's just that Soulmate is no longer involved..

It's not that easy having a blog- take veteran blogger Soulmate for example. Having provided so much music to so many both in blogs and briefly on his own forum- once again he's turned his back on it all. He closed the Pai 2 blog (temporarily) but not before delivering an angry message to his readers and down loaders. I'm reminded of the April fools joke on the long gone Blaks lair. It's about feedback and lack of recognition first and foremost. Of course I love the guy-and have always thanked him-he is without a doubt a huge influence on my taste-as much or even more than almost any other DJ or person. This computer, my external hard drives, my 50 MB broadband, would never have come into being without his influence. All that said I'm just a lone voice, and his final post said it all..

More than 1000 albums which i posted in the last 8 months... but 99,9% of u GOD DAMN leecher assholes never leave a comment, a rating or whatever to any of my postings...

Now one could argue that a Blogger can't expect thanks-me I'm lucky if I get 30 views a day of this Blog-then again I'm not posting up loads of Rar files with every new morning. I don't even allow comments (I have my own reasons)-but it makes me sad that Soulmate once again ends up throwing in the towel because down loaders can't be arsed saying thanks.

Take his penultimate post

"If i'm honest... i didn't know this album, as recently as a few weeks ago edtracks sent me a copy of this cd...
After i listened to it that day, i thought by myself just "Wow" they sounds like a mixture of Jade and SWV & i ordered it immediately to have it physical... think u'll like it, too!

The album was produced by Denzil Foster & Thomas McElroy. Enjoy!"

Poor Soulmate.....Doubtless at some point he will return, having calmed down, after all it is what he is. I for one hope he does.........

smooth jazz track of the day

Well it's been a while since I posted up one of these (and I have to add that these smooth jazz tracks have become a staple of this Blog). This is nice and from 2010 and it deserves a wider listener ship IMHO .

Edit of the Day

Taken from the Jazze mixtape- a bit of a Kandi dancer -least it is now the pretty poor rap segment has been edited out by yours truly....

another real fave

Finally !!!! I downloaded this today.....A track I have fond memories of- orignially recording it from Richard Searling's Radio Show the year of release- which had this wonderful back announcement along the lines of "Well that's a bit Urban" (It was on Tommy Boy after all). What it really is though is a deeply funny, post modern comment re bitchin about the ex....including some awesome lyrics that somehow never get old (well least for me)........ "what baby...? Contemplate-that means to think about it-come on say it with me CONTEMPLATE "

New Avant

Been made an official free download from his website but it's not yet been confirmed that it's on the forth coming CD. It's hardly earth shattering, then again it's not meant to be but it's still rather good. It's very Kedar Entertainment-in sound style (by which I mean it could be a Joe Song)

jazmine 2

Reflections on the whole shooting match........

Tank....

He's the hardest working man in show business- he's never out of the studio doing demo's, writing songs and honing his production style (or so the many leaks seem to prove)-and yet he hardly ever releases anything !

One thing I like about him is his consistency - his stuff is always worth listening too.

Turntablist of the day

Step forward Jordan Leno- taking a wave from Pieces of a Man and reconstructing it...
(third one in a row from Strictly)

I like the creative thought process behind this track- it seems a lot more valid than some dreary remix of say "your daddy loves you". It's short clever uses something I know and makes it different without simply stamping a sound template on it.....

Nikko Gray

Strange but rather wonderful....
