The World of Demo songs

There was a time when people wrote songs on paper- or piano scrolls. These days a song is done as a demo track and sometimes these test recordings are leaked on the net.
Back in the old days say 2005-8 when doing an R&B Demo you booked One Chance to provide the vocal. Or if you could sing you did the track itself (see http://altmodsoul.blogspot.com/2010/10/demo-of-day-more-recent.html).


It's always a bit strange to hear a song that frankly will never be good enough- passed around....
